	When Gatorbox initially partnered with FrankerFaceZ in 2015 the channel was only three years old and hadn't yet developed enough inside jokes and references to turn into emotes to fill their slot allocation. To fill the empty slots [[Draco]] turned to his archive of emotes from projects he'd previously worked on, namely RFSHQ (a comedy website that existed between 2004 and 2008). The 2cents emote was something Draco made in 2005 for the message boards there and still had the icon saved to his computer so he added it to FrankerFaceZ with the others. Additionally, when Gatorbox partnered with BetterTTV to make all of its emotes available on YouTube, BetterTTV would not accept the low-resolution original PNG image causing Draco to artificially enlarge it without actually changing the image quality. At larger sizes the emote loses fidelity but still looks the same in chat when displayed as a small icon as intended.
