In actuality, PUSSYTRON 4000 never competed in a sanctioned match. Shortly after debuting on camera the robot was taken apart and rebuilt into a more formidable one, The Destroyer, based on a drawing Draco made in 2001. The Destroyer reused the same tank base with armored plates added onto the sides of the tracks, and the joke saw blade was replaced by a smaller actual buzzsaw-style blade made of tool steel mounted vertically and powered by the same cassette tape deck motor. A trapezoid-shaped aluminum shell (originally polycarbonate) was added to the top of the chassis covering the exposed electronics and drive motors. Despite being rebuilt into a proper robot, The Destroyer never saw combat either. The robot did appear in the 2024 stream [[The Twilight Foundry Quarter Century Anniversary Spectacular]] in a partially disassembled state.

The robot is often spoken of very highly, an example being that it's a "fourteen-time BattleBots champion".
