	Rasta Otter was born as a result of a [[Shush Or Hush]]-style joke made during [[Small Balls Taste Test\|a 2015 project to repaint the PC game ''Hamsterball Deluxe'']]. The game in question displays the text "READY SET GO!" as three separate images, the letters of these words were arranged into various anagrams until "RASTA OTTER .ORG" was settled upon (the period being made by cheating slightly and removing the upper part of the exclamation mark). Several emoticons exist within Gatorbox's Twitch channel that feature otters making various expressions (GBrasta, GBotter, and GBbless). In 2021 all of the otter emoticons on the channel were edited to feature Rasta Otter's trademark beanie.
