The Bezos Blaster is a prop that was introduced to the Gatorbox show in January 2022 for the stream's eleventh season. It is a heavily modified toy "money gun" created by Draco featuring the likeness of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on its front. A slot was cut through Bezos' mouth so when the trigger is pulled a torrent of play money is ejected out through his mouth. The gun is used when non-bit contributions are made to the stream such as a Twitch subscription or donation.
The prop was made from a Monopoly money gun as a base. The original rear battery pack, safety clip, and trigger were all pulled out and replaced with heavier duty parts including a new rocker switch and a 6V flashlight battery, doubling the recommended voltage of the gun's motor to increase its speed and output. The safety mechanisms were either completely removed or bypassed so the gun would simply dump money out nonstop once the rocker switch is held down. Bezos' eyes were replaced with red LED lights that were intended to light up once the trigger was pulled however the LEDs used were unable to handle the current output of the battery and popped upon initial testing. Three sets of eyes were burned out before the idea was scrapped and the dead LEDs were just painted bright red. Due to the massive battery strapped to the back of the gun its appearance has been compared to the laser pistols seen in Fallout 3.
Beginning mid-way through the 2024 season the Bezos Blaster started routinely having trouble working correctly. It would often jam or otherwise fail to dispense money for whatever reason. Draco assumed it was because the gun's battery was running low after two years of use however after replacing it the gun still malfunctioned often. Draco believes the problem may be that the small electric motor inside the gun has been gradually damaged over the years by running it at double voltage and now the cumulative wear on the motor is showing. Draco said he does have replacement motors and gearboxes for the gun, though replacing it will require a complete disassembly of the prop in order to swap out the potentially damaged parts.
There is also an animated Twitch emote of the gun (gatorbBlaster) showing it firing out dollar bills in rapid succession.
