Dumb Jaded Idiot (stylized as dumb. jaded. idiot.) is a recurring feature on the Gatorbox channel. Draco reacts to events such as The Game Awards and YouTube Rewind in a sardonic and disapproving manner, often proclaiming he has no vested interest in what's happening and rarely knows who's on screen or what they are talking about, especially during The Game Awards. Dumb Jaded Idiot is notable in that it was formerly a cancelled and delisted series that Draco revived and brought back due to community interest.
History
Wanting to follow the hype surrounding everyone clowning on 2018's YouTube Rewind video, Draco decided to film a reaction and uploaded it to the Gatorbox channel. Not long thereafter he hosted a stream where he watched that year's Game Awards and critiqued the nominees and the show as it happened. Together these two streams created the foundation of Dumb Jaded Idiot. The series did not make it further than this point initially however, as Draco decided to delist the show over concerns of people potentially harassing him for taking potshots at easy targets.
Dumb Jaded Idiot returned in 2021 by overwhelming community demand when Draco hosted another stream lampooning The Game Awards once again. Two videos spawned from this stream: one about the nominees and one about the show itself, following in the steps of the 2018 stream. The Game Awards "watch party" stream has become an annual feature of the channel, and Dumb Jaded Idiot has incorporated other shows and events as well if not in name directly than in spirit. Additional features have included the RoboGames robot combat event, the animated series Dragamonz, and the pilot season for the Discovery Channel show Weaponizers (the latter being co-hosted by Fusion).
