Ol' Reliable is the nickname Draco eventually gave to his personal laptop that he used to keep up with Twitch chat and control some of his stream elements from. It was a Toshiba Satellite model laptop big enough to have a full keyboard and a dedicated numerical keypad. Draco was known to be extremely gentle and careful with Ol' Reliable as according to him its hard drive would occasionally make a "funny sound" and he was worried the computer was nearing the end of its life. Despite this the laptop, originally bought in 2009, remained part of the Gatorbox set until 2020 when it was replaced with New Reliable.

As the years piled on Ol' Reliable became something of an object of endearing life as it eventually had to deal with a number of crippling issues, including:

  • Both speakers blowing out
  • The trackpad dying, requiring the use of a USB mouse
  • The battery no longer holding a charge, the aftermarket replacement battery propped up the back side of the laptop
  • The fan became partially obstructed by debris
  • The "Z" key on the keyboard just stopped working

Ol' Reliable was retired in 2020 when stream fans Racquerr and Baralheia sent in a newer used laptop. The laptop still "works", it's simply no longer used on stream for now.

In certain older videos parts of Ol' Reliable are censored, this is because Draco would often leave papers on top of the keyboard with potentially personal information on them. Stream chat or other windows would also be visible sometimes, some of which might also have sensitive information on them. In the earliest videos there was a sticker on the laptop that in hindsight Draco found objectionable. Unsure if any of this would be readable on camera Draco took the safe route and blurred the laptop out.
