Like Minecraft, But With... was the name given to an idea for a side series to run on Gatorbox that would feature a revolving door of video games created in the "voxel" graphical style made popular by Minecraft. When this series was initially conceived -- 2014 -- Minecraft was at the height of its popularity and platforms such as Steam and the Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace were inundated with cheap rip-offs being sold for only a couple of dollars (compared to Minecraft's price of $10 USD). The series ultimately did not go into production because of concerns that the show would grow stale rather quickly due to the fact that every game that would be featured was a Minecraft copycat and thus variety between episodes would be sparse.
Had it been produced, Like Minecraft would've been the first Gatorbox side series to receive what eventually became known as the "First Friday" treatment where the first Friday show of each month has its opener (usually GatorUNbox) replaced with the side series. What's Yiffin'? went on to become the first "First Friday" series, starting production in September 2015.
