The buffalo stance is the name given to the awkward and very apparent lean that presenter Geoff Keighley has a tendency to do while hosting the annual The Game Awards show. Draco first noted Geoff's tendency to sway and tilt during the 2023 restream of the show but didn't start referring to the position as "buffalo stance" until the 2024 show. The joke continued into 2025 where looking for the gesture became something of a running game. Geoff's tilted stance was featured in the video thumbnail for the 2024 recap on the Gatorbox YouTube channel.

The name "buffalo stance" is derived from the song of the same name by singer Neneh Cherry. Though the term was never officially defined by her (the name of the song refers to the Buffalo, NY fashion group Cherry formerly belonged to), the "stance" was commonly accepted in pop culture to be a portrayal of someone leaning to one side with crossed arms. Keighley does not cross his arms, but because he stands with an obvious lean the term stuck. Cherry's "Buffalo Stance" was featured as an intermission song during a 2025 stream of GatorUNbox: Cassette Roulette where Draco used his cassette single of the song as the tape with which to test and troubleshoot the player.
