Dino is the protagonist of a series of pseudo-eponymous PC games developed by Rhema and published by Polish game studio PlayWay. Several of the games featuring the character were showcased in a GAME HELL stream devoted exclusively to games published by PlayWay which had been donated by BenyoBoy, a fan of Your Level Sucks. He is a small nondescript cartoonish dinosaur character who wears a sideways baseball cap. Two of the games he was featured in resulted in memorable moments when they were featured. In Dino's boat racing game Draco opened the options menu and clicked one of the logos of the engines used to make the game which opened his web browser to take him to the corresponding website, however its domain had expired and was bought by a scammer who replaced it with a phishing page. In another game, a buggy platformer, Dino looks into a telescope in an opening cutscene to see a large meteor heading toward the planet (presumably the one that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs). When Dino turns around to face the player he's making the ambivalent expression seen in the emote. The disconnect between Dino aimlessly smiling after realizing his own potential mortality wound up becoming something of a recurring joke on the stream.
Dino's emote was added in 2017 and an enhanced "HD" version was uploaded several years later when Draco was doing some tidying up of old emoticons. Although its use has waned, Dino remains associated with the channel and has survived several cullings. The emote is commonly used to express a lack of awareness of danger either by way of inadvertently stepping into a trap or charging into a dangerous situation.
