GatorboXXX (also styled as Gatorboxxx) is a planned offshoot of the main Gatorbox stream where the games featured contain explicit adult content. It was announced as early as 2017 however it has yet to enter production due to complications stemming from the adult nature of the show.
The idea for the series is based in the early days of the Gatorbox stream when it featured numerous hosts and was broadcast via the now defunct Livestream.com service. Livestream.com's terms of service did not explicitly forbid NSFW and adult content so on rare occasions games such as Corruption of Champions, Sonic the Pervert, and Macro Sonic Dating Sim were featured on the main stream. Upon migrating to the Twitch platform the Gatorbox show was beholden to a new ToS agreement with Twitch and their terms do not allow for the broadcasting of adult content. Additionally, recaps of the streams would have to be heavily censored in order to be suitable for upload to YouTube where they would still be age-restricted and ineligible for ad revenue. As such it was believed there was no streaming platform or video hosting service that would allow GatorboXXX to exist.
Despite the issues surrounding the production of the series GatorboXXX has lurked in the background for quite some time. At one point Draco considered filming the show offline and uploading uncensored episodes to PornHub but ultimately decided against this stating he did not want the Gatorbox logo, mascots, and branding to exist on a platform that was explicitly intended for pornography.
In 2024 interest in the series bubbled up when it was announced Tuna Boat Tony would be participating in the recording of a playthrough of the "Cock Version" romhack of Pokemon Red and Blue. Due to the presence of racial slurs in the hack it cannot be streamed on Twitch, however Gatorbox viewers were still very interested in wanting to see the playthrough happen live. Leatherface, a member of the community, suggested streaming the game privately via the Discord chat service. Draco looked into this and deemed it possible and stated that the playthrough would be streamed there to avoid violating Twitch's terms of service. With Discord now a viable avenue for streams that would otherwise run foul of Twitch ToS the subject of GatorboXXX was brought up again with viewers asking if the series could perhaps finally see life through Discord.
Draco said that could potentially be possible, though expressed concern that there would be no recaps available for the show and no video-on-demand archived automatically like there are for viewers who miss a Twitch stream. YouTube would also not allow the series to run on their platform likely even if it were heavily edited and censored. Patreon was suggested as an alternative place to host episodes of the show seeing as how Patreon allows certain kinds of adult content and Gatorbox already has a presence on the service. Draco agreed that Patreon was a viable platform, however in order to comply with Patreon's policies all episodes of GatorboXXX must be restricted to patrons only (supporting a creator on Patreon requires using a credit card which can only be obtained once someone turns 18 so this effectively acts as proof of age). He stated that episodes of the series would be locked behind a $1 subscription fee, the lowest tier possible on Patreon.
As of September 2024, GatorboXXX has yet to officially enter production, however Draco has been collecting games for the show as evidenced by his profile on Steam.
