@Gatorbox_ebooks was a Twitter bot created by Draco that would tweet out contextless quotes from the show and other Gatorbox media every few hours. The frequency of its tweets was constantly under adjustment; when the bot initially launched it posted at the top of every hour but wound up repeating itself very often due to a lack of quotes to pull from, the frequency was later fine-tuned and at various points would post every 3, 4, or 6 hours. @Gatorbox_ebooks was in operation between 2016 until its decommissioning in 2019 following Draco's general departure from social media. At its peak the bot featured a database of over 1,200 quotes and references.

The bot got its name from the popular viral account @Horse_ebooks which would periodically tweet out nonsensical posts throughout the day. Bot accounts suffixed with "_ebooks" was a commonplace fad on Twitter during the period when @Gatorbox_ebooks was active as these were all referencing the naming convention of the @Horse_ebooks account even if none of them actually sold e-books.

Draco expressed interest in reviving the bot in 2023, however this coincided with Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter and its eventual rebranding into X. One of the major changes to the platform was the deprecation and ultimately the end-of-life of the original API that was used by @Gatorbox_ebooks and thousands of other novelty bots. A new API was launched with a premium subscription model, replacing the old one. Not only would the bot need to be completely re-coded and brought up to the standard of the newer and more complicated API there was also a significant subscription fee attached to using it. Ultimately, Draco elected to not revive @Gatorbox_ebooks. There have been mentions of converting the bot to post either to Mastodon or Discord but these ideas have not made it past the initial planning stages.
