The Waitress is the nickname given to Adine from the game Angels With Scaly Wings, a visual novel and pseudo dating simulator that was streamed on Gatorbox by Draco and Tuna Boat Tony. Tony reprised his role as a guest host for five consecutive streams where each chapter of the game was played through.

The goal of Angels With Scaly Wings is to find out where your lab partner has gone and to also befriend and get to know the locals after stepping through the portal. "The locals" just so happen to all be various kinds of dragons who don't seem as surprised to see a human as you'd probably expect. There is also a dating sim aspect to the game where players can court any male or female character they choose (the player's gender is not specified at any point). Initially Draco and Tony had their eyes set on Anna, a lab assistant who was kind of haughty. When things didn't pan out with Anna, Draco wondered where they could go from there. Tony then reminded him about "The Waitress" from the coffee shop and that he could give her a call and try his luck with her instead. Tony referred to her as The Waitress because he forgot her name, but the nickname stuck and for the remainder of the game neither Draco nor Tony referred to Adine as anything other than "The Waitress". To this day Draco still calls her that even in retrospect.

In an October 2024 stream Draco revealed that he'd purchased a silk-screened pillowcase of The Waitress and replaced the couch pillow to his left (camera right) with the new one.

The nickname "The Waitress" is also an unintentional nod to the TV series It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia where there is a character who works in a coffee shop and who the main characters solely refer to as "The Waitress". In all of the 15 seasons of the show her name has never been revealed and her character is credited as simply "The Waitress".
