"These levels were made by kids" is an off the cuff exclamation made by Draco during an After Hours video. With Trustsuperjail as his guest host Draco lamented the popularity of Your Level Sucks by way of the negative comments he would receive criticizing the show because it was presumed many of the stages in Super Mario Maker were made by kids. In referencing these comments Draco adopts a loud Bobcat Goldthwait-esque voice, flaps his jacket, and yells out the soon-to-be catchphrase. The moment was made memorable by Trustsuperjail's inability to stop laughing for several minutes.
The catchphrase took on a life of its own and became the flagship remark of Your Level Sucks with people often posting it in chat to which Draco would respond by doing an impression of his initial video reaction. The phrase also led to Draco creating an emote of the meme showing him flapping his jacket. With the advent of animated emotes on Twitch an animated GIF of the jacket flapping was added as a channel emote (gatorbKids). The emote is the first one to break Draco's personal rule of "never having emotes of yourself" on the channel.
