Game Hell (stylized as GAME HELL on YouTube) is a pseudo-miniseries on the Gatorbox channel. In it Draco plays an ever changing roulette of bad video games for a brief period before switching to a new one. The idea for the series came about from Draco wanting to feature games on the stream that couldn't hold an entire Friday feature on their own so he instead packaged several games together for a multiple feature.
History
In mid-2015 Draco had plans to feature a bad title released through the now-defunct Xbox Live Indie Games platform. The problem he faced was that the game offered extremely little in the way of gameplay and there was no way it would last an entire Friday night stream. Instead what wound up happening is Draco played multiple XBLIG releases in one stream and when it came time to edit the stream video he decided to lump all of the games together in one video rather that cut them into numerous separate uploads. He titled the project "GAME HELL" and uploaded the first installment to YouTube on December 24, 2015 as a sort of Christmas surprise. Reception to the format was overwhelmingly positive (GAME HELL remains one of Gatorbox's most viewed series to this day).
Draco only had a finite amount of XBLIG titles to play and most of them were timed demos so in order to keep the momentum going he decided to incorporate games from other sources. In the follow-up to the Xbox games Draco streamed games from the gaming aggregate Mafa.com as the website at the time was making the rounds due to a number of disturbing medical-related games that it featured. This feature nearly killed GAME HELL outright when the response to the Mafa stream was extremely negative. (Draco promised he would never feature Mafa again until the community lightened up on him years later.) Draco's next feature was one of those "500,000 GAMES" rip-off collections for PC and this was the course-correction the series needed. GAME HELL was back and now the community was getting involved. BenyoBoy, a fan of the Your Level Sucks series, offered a collection of PC shovelware to Draco to feature on the stream and after that Draco showed off a collection of indie games pertaining to the popular SCP Foundation website.
GAME HELL has grown to become a Gatorbox staple and enjoys high viewership on the YouTube channel. Sometimes the creators of the games even get involved with the series such as when Allison James, developer behind NAL is Alive, reached out to Draco to comment that she thoroughly enjoyed the GAME HELL feature.
With the termination of support for Adobe Flash software in modern web browsers Draco has started exploring systems such as Flashpoint to create Flash-themed GAME HELL episodes as well as acquiring a Chromecast and a burner Android phone in order to play shoddy mobile games. Standalone bootleg consoles such as the "Coolbaby" (NES Classic) have also been featured as part of the GAME HELL playlist when in the past such devices would normally get their own playlist instead.
