Lootcraet (sometimes stylized as LOOTCRAET) is a parody of the American subscription box Loot Crate. It first appeared on GatorUNbox as a massive prop filled with practical gags that directly satirized or lampooned the type of merchandise commonly found inside a real Loot Crate subscription box as well as outlandish and unsettling things cooked up for shock value. It is made from a shoe box that Draco spray painted blank and lined the inside with bright orange paper. The Lootcraet was designed to embody hubris and teach the hosts of the stream the "lesson" of never getting a big head about chasing views and popularity else they run the risk of selling out and opening up a glorified box of unsalable garbage for sponsorship money.

Draco unveiled the Lootcrate as a 50 subscriber special on the Gatorbox YouTube channel in early 2015. Rockyowitz was present for the opening of the Lootcraet but was not primed on its contents ahead of time in an effort to keep all of his reactions genuine. The contents of the box were designed and created by Draco, Roastmaster, and some of the more prominent members of the community at the time. The items ranged from repurposed "found" objects to intricate counterfeits and imitations of real goods.

A companion website, www.lootcraet.com (archive), was also set up to go along with the joke. A spiritual successor to the Lootcraet named "Lootcraet 1.5" was created by a fan of the stream and given to Draco in late 2015. It was filled with random junk items taken from various people the viewer worked with. A proper successor to the Lootcraet had been teased going as far back as 2016 and in 2020 Tuna Boat Tony would be subject to the Lootcraet treatment to open the new box with Draco while being completely unaware of its contents. Roastmaster reprised his role as contributor to the Lootcraet project and several of the items in the second box completed the punchlines of those from the first, such as the fourth PlayStation button that was absent from the original Lootcraet five years prior. A third Lootcraet is a possibility and a future unboxing could feature Reflex or Akimbo Shark as the co-host unaware of the box's contents.

Following the original Lootcraet stream the empty prop box could sometimes be seen sitting around in the background of the set although it was never directly interacted with or pointed out. A small icon of the Lootcrate slightly ajar was added to the list of inaugural FrankerFaceZ Twitch emotes for the Gatorbox channel. This icon was also formerly used in the video overlays for GatorUNbox to highlight the Loot Cam, a secondary camera whose name was directly inspired by the Lootcraet prop. Additionally, the YouTube thumbnail for the Lootcraet video featured several slight "clickbait" modifications, one of which was enlarging Draco's eyes. A cutout of his exaggerated stare was also added as its own emote and was eventually overlaid onto the GatorUNbox layout as a gag that ended up staying there for about a year.

Many of the original Gatorbox props and pieces of equipment were lost or damaged in 2017 when the stream's studio was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. Several weeks after the hurricane Draco posted a picture of the Lootcraet on Twitter to show that it had survived, noting "even if [the Lootcraet] was destroyed it would've returned anyways because pure evil cannot be truly eradicated".

Due to the poorly-aged humor of the Lootcraet and its contents the original video from 2015 was delisted from YouTube. In June 2022 the video was re-cut and uploaded to YouTube again followed by the premiere of the second Lootcraet video featuring Tuna Boat Tony.

Legacy

The Coming out of Their Shells cassette album by the Ninja Turtles touring band featured in the 2015 Lootcraet eventually made an appearance in a 2025 installment of GatorUNbox: Cassette Roulette. The "That's My Ronald!" single has also been one of the tapes in the roulette several times, though it has not been picked.

Individual cut-outs of the holographic paw print stickers from the first Lootcraet have also occasionally been sent out as gifts to fans of the show, notably to JaggyJaguar and Fandramon who have done a significant amount of fanart of Gatorbox's various mascots.

A still from the 2020 Lootcraet video showing the Sonichu amiibo is used on the CWCki page for Chris' amiibos; the one Draco owns is hand-numbered by Chris as being the very first one making it a significant item.

The Pringles bootleg Sega MegaDrive game appeared in a channel trailer for the 2 Old Pirates podcast in 2022 where Draco in a cameo appearance, mistaking the podcast to be about media piracy, digs through a box of illegal bootleg merchandise he intends to sell at a swap meet and holds up (among other things) the game stating "I have Pringles".

The Beethoven comic adaptation was donated to The Furry Comic Preservation Project in 2025.

The Cassie photo took on a life of its own being turned into a sticker available in the Gatorbox Etsy store, and later being used as an asset in the Pixicade mobile game studio stream as a glitched object named "the Cassie Apparition". Sometimes, Draco will put a scraggly blindfold on the Cassie doll on the set's shelves that looks like the scratched out eyes of the photo though he does not draw attention to it when he's done it. Draco also portrayed (in suit) the Cassie Apparition in the 2026 channel trailer for Gatorbox.
