Your Level Sucks (often stylized as Your Level SUCKS) is the name given to a group of miniseries produced by Gatorbox showcasing levels and stages of poor quality submitted to the online communities of various video games. The series debuted in September 2015 highlighting Super Mario Maker. This inaugural series went on to become the most popular and most viewed series produced by the channel.

The original Your Level Sucks was formally cancelled in 2017 with a final episode set to be released, however the series was revived in 2019 following the announcement of Super Mario Maker 2. Filming of the Super Mario Maker 2 version of Your Level Sucks concluded in 2020. Draco has stated that he's open to the idea of bringing the series back for a third run if Nintendo releases a Super Mario Maker 3 in the future.

Super Mario Maker

The Super Mario Maker edition of Your Level Sucks was produced from 2015 - 2017 and featured 18 standard episodes, 9 "special" episodes, 2 viewer special episodes, and a live edition as part of the 2016 Extra Life charity marathon. It gained immense popularity on YouTube due to the series' counterpoint to the many videos praising stages and pandering to viewers/subscribers. The content of the series was highly contested by viewers but remained a popular addition to the Gatorbox channel and stayed in offline production during much of 2016 when the stream's live counterpart was on production hiatus.

The first run of Your Level Sucks ended in 2017 due to Hurricane Harvey. A "finalé" episode was announced to have been in the works that would provide closure to the series and Draco's "character", however this project was shelved when Nintendo announced Super Mario Maker 2 in 2019. A second season of the show, titled Your Level Sucks 2, was announced instead.

A farewell episode of the series dubbed "The Final Collection" was recorded on March 10, 2024 ("Mario Day") to be released on April 8, 2024 which Nintendo had previously announced would be the day the servers hosting Super Mario Maker's level database would be shut down. It is technically the sixteenth collection of the series and its internal episode ID denotes this however it was named the "final" one as no more episodes can be filmed now that the servers are offline.

Super Mario Maker 2

On February 13, 2019 Nintendo announced the upcoming release of Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch. Three days later a clip show titled "The Very Best of Your Level Sucks" was uploaded to the Gatorbox YouTube channel. The official return of Your Level Sucks was confirmed the following day when a short 30-second teaser was released showing Draco, in character, jumping on a turtle sculpture and shooting the finger to the upset cameraman. Sound effects from the NES Mario games were added for comedic effect. The revival series was titled Your Level Sucks 2 and entered production in June 2019. Unlike the first series Your Level Sucks 2 was filmed live on Saturday nights weekly for exactly one year. This required creative solutions to censor level codes in real time to prevent viewers from potentially mass downvoting featured levels. At the conclusion of its production there were 30 collection episodes, 13 "special" episodes, 2 extra episodes, and 4 viewer special episodes of Your Level Sucks 2.

The series was known for its running gags and segments, one of which being Draco hiding his "Kickstarter Pen" somewhere in most episodes. This was the pen he used to keep track of level names for post-production editing and often times it would be hidden in elaborate ways to trick viewers. Additionally starting with Collection #4 Draco would briefly show off something Mario or Nintendo related from his extensive video game collection. These segments were included in the series to better "humanize" Draco as a character act and prime the audience for a satirical show instead of going with a hard sardonic persona like the first season.

Although the series ended in June 2020, Draco has stated that he is open to the idea of bringing the series back for a hypothetical Your Level Sucks 3 if Nintendo releases another installment of Super Mario Maker.

Mega Maker

Due to the popularity of the Your Level Sucks series, a spin-off was created based upon the popular Mega Maker game engine that allows players to create their own stages in the same style of the Mega Man series on the NES. Two episodes were produced for this series, however production came to a close following Hurricane Harvey. The future of this iteration of Your Level Sucks is unclear.
