"First Friday" refers to a side series that takes the place of GatorUNbox during the first Friday night Gatorbox show of a given month. The concept was introduced in September 2015 when What's Yiffin'? opened a Friday stream instead of an unboxing. The series was meant to be a one-off gag however reception to the replacement show was positive so Draco and Roastmaster brought it back the following month where the show again assumed the place of GatorUNbox. Draco ran the series on the first Friday of every month in order to allow enough time to pass for new material to be written for the show, though when What's Yiffin'? ended its run Draco continued the standard "first Friday" treatment for the shows that came afterward.

Like Minecraft, But With... would've been the first side series to receive the "first Friday" treatment had it gone into production in 2014, however the series never entered full production over concerns of quick stagnation. That's Not Lego! would have also been a candidate for the feature while it was taped in 2023 had it not taken the place of Gatorbox &CHILL streams in order to quickly record the whole series in just a few months.
