Over the years Gatorbox has amassed a surprising number of "mascots", characters that become a part of the Gatorbox "mythos" and have their own names, personalities, and stories. Coolgator was the inaugural -- and technically the only official -- channel mascot, though as time has passed many other characters beloved by the community have joined his rank. Most of these additional mascots have tangible representations in real life such as a figurine or stuffed animal, many of which decorated the background of the Gatorbox set at one point.
